Homogenization of transport equations in porous media

My interest is primarily in homogenization of partial differential equations describing transport phenomena in porous media. I use techniques such as volume averaging with closure and multiscale asymptotics.

Current research topics include:

  • comparisons of different upscaling techniques,
  • homogenization of nonlinear differential operators and inertial flow in porous media,
  • higher order theories.
